New Remote Dial-In Access Service For U.S. Bankruptcy Court Hearings
(Dec 6): A new remote access dial-in service, Court Call, has been secured by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for those interested in listening in on Court Hearings via telephone. Participants must register in advance to access this new service. The current charges to use this service are $25.00 for the first 45 minutes, and $6.50 for each additional 15 minutes.
To register, you need to call 866-582-6878, where you will be asked to provide your name (the individual attorney or investor name), your billing address, method of payment, telephone number, email address, and fax number, if you have one.
Once you have registered, you will then need to schedule your appearance as a participant in the desired court hearing. To do this, you will need to provide the Judge’s name, the hearing date and time, and the case number. Once you have provided this information, you will be faxed or emailed (whatever you requested) the confirmation number and participant code for the hearing.
For this case and this case only, the Court will allow participants to register as late as the hearing start time. However, Court Call has requested that you register and schedule your appearance no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard time the day prior to allow them time to process your request and reduce any delays in your ability to access the hearing.
