Multiple Copies of the Same Documents – What You Can do

(Sept. 7) USACM has received a lot of telephone calls and emails from investors who are getting multiple copies of the exact same documents in separate envelopes. The following is why we think this is happening and what you can do about it.

USACM uses BMC Group, its claims agent, to handle the issuance of Notices and to maintain the mailing matrix used to send these notices. USACM reported this issue to BMC, and BMC reports that the following may be responsible for the issuance of the duplicate copies of the Notice: (1) slight discrepancies in the manner in which addresses were reported, or (2) multiple legal entities with the same address.

WHAT YOU CAN DO. If you have received multiple copies of the Notice because of discrepancies in the manner in which the addresses were reported, and would like BMC to send only one (1) copy in future mailings, please contact BMC via email at usacmc@bmcgroup.com. The subject line of the email should state “USACM Mailing Matrix.” In the text of the email, you should copy:

• exactly all information in the addressee portion for each envelope in which the Notices were sent
• the bar code number for each
• clearly indicate which of the addresses is the correct address where you wish future notices to be sent
